Instead of a Pretentious word of the day, I would like to expand our collective cultural knowledge with:
"Mooch" - Hindi for moustache. I learned the cultural influences for facial hair AROSE from British interaction in the East Indies. We learn something new everyday.
We're back with a new interview!! Today I sit down with Dr. Anand Iyer; chief resident psychiatrist at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and Dr. Meghan Bratton, fellow physician in child and adolescent psychiatry at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
We discuss instances where they observed the extreme boundaries of the human psyche, their paths to their specialty, and provide a general inside view to the world of medicine. We even get a fairly in depth description of ketamine medical applications and mechanism of action!
We enjoyed ourselves so much, we are considering making this a regular thing. A rotating panel of psychiatrists made available to field questions and provide discussions on advances in the field.
Give us a like and a drop a comment if you'd enjoy further discussion around a particular topic!
