Howdy All,

I'm a small town American, with a global perspective.

Ever since I was young and old enough to hold coherent thought; I've been a listener and observer. I would ride with my father in his old GMC and listen to Levine and Limbaugh as we drove between errands for the farm.

I would listen to the stories my grandfather and uncles would tell me about their participation in the global events of their times, namely WW2 and Vietnam. My father would tell me of the inner workings of the political side of the Airforce, as he was a Lt. Colonel before he retired. Through their connections with others of their creed, I listened and learned much much more about the workings of our world and its governments.

Mainly on how it speaks out of one side of its mouth and keeps fingers crossed behind its back.

"Those who forget history are destined to repeat it"

I would say that our leaders have purposely drained history of any merit, in order to repeat the mistakes of our past... For their profit and our detriment.

As such, I have taken to inviting folks of all stripes to this wee platform of mine, in an attempt to reinvigorate the sanctity that is generational learning through our original cultural memory... Oral history and Conversation.

We can not allow our collective memories to be wiped by the ease of storing all in a digital consciousness.
